Senior Technical Architect / Principal Software Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Technical Architect / Principal Software Engineer with 17+ years of proven expertise in enterprise application development, SaaS-based ERP solutions, and full software development lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing scalable, high-performance applications, leading technical teams, driving architectural decisions, and delivering innovative solutions that align with business objectives.

This role requires deep expertise in Java/J2EE technologies, Spring ecosystem, cloud-native application development, SaaS platforms, database design, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in defining technical strategy, mentoring engineering teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of enterprise-grade software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture &

- Design

- Design, develop, and implement scalable SaaS-based ERP solutions to meet complex business requirements.

- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders and internal customers to translate business needs into technical solutions.

- Define application architecture, system integration strategies, and technical roadmaps.

- Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, highly available, and optimized for performance.

- Lead architectural reviews and technology selection initiatives.

- Establish best practices, design standards, and governance frameworks.

Software Development

- Develop enterprise-grade applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, JPA, JDBC, and Servlets.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services using Jersey, SOAP, WSDL, and XML technologies.

- Lead feature development, product enhancements, and customization initiatives.

- Write high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code adhering to industry standards and best practices.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with secure coding standards.

Data &

- Search Technologies

- Design and optimize relational database schemas to support enterprise-scale applications.

- Develop complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Cursors, and database objects.





- Implement enterprise search capabilities using Apache SOLR, including schema design, indexing strategies, and query optimization.

- Ensure database performance, data integrity, scalability, and availability.

- Optimize caching and distributed data management strategies using technologies such as Hazelcast.

DevOps &

- Automation

- Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and related automation tools.

- Develop shell scripts and automation utilities for build, deployment, and release management.

- Implement contemporary DevOps practices to enhance software delivery efficiency.

- Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and deployment processes.

- Implement logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting solutions using Log4j and related tools.

Agile Delivery &

- Technical Leadership

- Work within Agile/Scrum environments to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Participate in architecture reviews, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical governance activities.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.

- Conduct peer reviews and guide engineers on software engineering best practices.

- Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root-cause analysis efforts.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product Management, QA, DevOps, and Business Stakeholders.

Modern Technology Enablement

- Drive development automation initiatives leveraging JMR and modern engineering frameworks.

- Provide technical leadership across Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JavaScript, React, Angular, and Vue.js ecosystems.

- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, architectural patterns, and engineering practices.

- Support cloud modernization and digital transformation programs.
