JOB SUMMARY:

- Responsible for all activities and processes related to the creation, maintenance, governance, and continuous improvement of Product Data Management.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ideate, create, and enforce business rules to manage product data, material masters, bill of materials, and change management processes.
- Lead process improvement and automation initiatives utilizing tools such as Winshuttle, Excel VBA, SAP, Windchill, and other relevant technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity.
- Extract, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data from SAP, Windchill, and other enterprise systems to support business decisions, audits, and process improvements.
- Create process documentation, provide technical guidance and training to peers and team members, and lead projects related to Product Data Management and Engineering Systems.
- Provide daily operational support to business units through SAP material master lifecycle maintenance while balancing strategic improvement initiatives and project responsibilities.

1. Data Engineering, Reporting & Analytics Expected End Results Extract, analyze, interpret, and present large amounts of data to support business decisions, audits, and process improvements.

Major Activities

- Continuous support of PDM teams and customers to extract and analyze data from SAP tables, databases, Windchill, and other enterprise systems.

- Support cross-functional groups with ad hoc data requests, reporting, and root cause analysis.
- Develop complex data extracts, dashboards, audit reports, and analytics to drive informed business decisions.
- Provide technical support, guidance, and training to requestors and team members.

2. Develop Automation Tools Expected End Results Develop workflows, automation tools, and technical solutions to improve efficiency, standardization, and data quality.

Major Activities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance Winshuttle scripts, Excel VBA tools, templates, and automation solutions.
- Partner with PDM teams and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and eliminate manual work.
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support automation tools and process improvements.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and best practices to improve productivity and team effectiveness.




- Provide technical mentorship and support to team members utilizing automation tools.

3. Audits Expected End Results Analyse, develop, and enhance audits as a tool for data quality and governance.

Major Activities

- Understand complex business rules and develop audit extracts to influence and improve data integrity.
- Perform advanced data analysis to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Leverage SAP tables, databases, and enterprise systems to execute large-scale audits and support decision-making.
- Recommend process improvements based on audit findings and trends.

4. Data Storage & Handling Expected End Results Ensure secure, accurate, and effective storage and management of data, reports, and technical documentation.

Major Activities

- Storage and maintenance of documents, reports, automation tools, and business data on global servers.
- Develop and maintain new processes, standards, and best practices for data management.
- Ensure timely backup and recovery of stored data.
- Create, manage, and optimize databases and repositories to support business needs.
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge management resources.

5. Project Management Expected End Results Lead projects and continuous improvement initiatives while effectively managing operational responsibilities.

Major Activities

- Represent Product Data Management by leading and supporting local, regional, and global projects.
- Drive automation, standardization, and process improvement initiatives.
- Make informed technical and operational decisions on behalf of the Product Data Management team.
- Effectively document, communicate, and present project outcomes and recommendations.
- Balance project execution with day-to-day operational workload and stakeholder commitments.
- Mentor peers and support knowledge transfer activities across the team.

Relevant Experience Engineer: 4-7 years

Senior Engineer (recommended):

- 4-7 years of relevant experience in Product Data Management, SAP, PLM/PDM systems,



Engineering Systems, Data Analytics, or Process Automation.

Personal Characteristics & Technical Expertise

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with effective presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP, Windchill, and other Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applications.
- Strong customer focus and excellent customer service skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience working with large datasets.
- Hands-on experience developing automation tools using Excel VBA, macros, Winshuttle, SAP data extraction tools, and related technologies.
- Ability to extract, analyse, and interpret large volumes of data from SAP databases and enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of Material Master, BOM, Engineering Change Management, and Product Lifecycle processes.
- Creative thinker with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for automation and digital transformation.
- Ability to balance technical development, project work, and day-to-day operational support.
- Experience mentoring peers and providing technical guidance to team members.
- Flexibility to support a wide variety of work related to Product Data & Lifecycle Management.
