We are hiring for an exciting SQA Automation Engineer (UI + API)

Position Details

- Position: SQA Automation Engineer (UI + API)
- Location: Pune
- Experience: 2–6 Years / 6–10 Years
- Engagement: C2H (Contract-to-Hire)
- Conversion: Opportunity to convert to a Full-Time Permanent role based on performance.

About the Role We are looking for an experienced SQA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in UI and API automation, covering web/mobile applications, functional testing, API validation, automation frameworks, debugging, and CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

- Develop and maintain UI & API automation using Selenium, Karate, SoapUI/ReadyAPI and scripting/programming.
- Robust experience in REST APIs, Web Services, HTTP methods, status codes, headers, JSON, XML/SOAP, WSDL/XSD and API integration testing.
- Perform functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing across SIT, UAT and release validation.
- Experience with mobile/web testing, including Appium/Perfecto and mobile-specific scenarios.
- Work with Jenkins, GitHub Actions,



Git/GitHub and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Use Jira and test management tools such as QTest/Quality Center for defect and test tracking.
- Perform debugging using Chrome DevTools, Charles Proxy, application logs and traces.
- Monitor application performance using Splunk, Dynatrace or BlueTriangle and support synthetic monitoring.
- Experience with virtual testing, mock data/services and troubleshooting automation failures.
- Follow SDLC, QA strategy, test planning, test execution, metrics and reporting practices.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product and cross-functional teams; independently own automation deliverables and resolve blockers.
