1. Job Purpose / Role Objective To ensure consistent quality of fancy yarns by monitoring, controlling, and improving quality parameters across all stages of fancy yarn production, from raw material to final packing, in line with customer and industry standards.

2. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities a) Monitor and control quality parameters of fancy yarns.

b) Conduct quality checks at all stages of production including mixing, spinning, rewinding, and packing.

c) Perform yarn testing using Uster, lab equipment, and in-process quality tools.

d) Analyze quality deviations and coordinate with production and maintenance teams for corrective and preventive actions.

e) Conduct machine and process audits specific to fancy yarn production.

f) Ensure adherence to approved quality standards and customer specifications.

g) Maintain accurate QC documentation, test reports, and audit records.

h) Support trials, new fancy yarn developments, and customer sampling.

i) Assist in handling customer quality feedback and internal quality improvement initiatives.

4. Qualifications & Experience a) Diploma / Degree in Textile Technology / Textile Engineering.

b) 26 years of experience in QC, preferably in fancy yarn or spinning industry.

5. Competencies / Skills Required a) Strong knowledge of fancy yarn manufacturing processes and quality parameters.

b) Hands-on experience with Uster testing and lab analysis.

c) Understanding of spinning machinery and process controls.

d) Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.

e) Effective communication and coordination abilities.

f) Ability to maintain detailed quality documentation.

g) Basic computer knowledge for reporting and data analysis.
