Role Description The Speech Language Pathologist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children with a range of communication and feeding/swallowing difficulties in an in office, full-time role based in Bengaluru. Daily responsibilities include conducting standardized and informal evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering one-on-one and small group therapy sessions. The role involves collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, documenting progress, and adjusting goals based on clinical observations and parent feedback.
The Speech Language
Pathologist will also educate and coach parents and caregivers on home-based strategies, participate in team meetings, and contribute to case discussions and program development.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in speech therapy, including assessment and intervention for pediatric populations.
- Ability to evaluate and treat communication disorders, including speech and language disorders.
- Experience managing language disorders and supporting the development of functional communication skills.
- Knowledge of dysphagia assessment and management in children, including safe feeding strategies.
- Recognized graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology & Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Relevant professional licensure or registration as required by local regulatory authorities.
- Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, and intellectual disability is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with families.
- Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
