Job Summary

As Offer Procurement Leader (Specialist, Offer Lifecycle Procurement), you streamline procurement processes to create competitive offers aligned with business objectives. You work closely with product and offer managers to identify procurement needs, source materials and services for new offers, and negotiate cost-effective contracts with suppliers.

Your mission is to ensure the efficient and timely procurement of resources essential for developing compelling offers.

The core of the role is fact-based cost ownership. You develop should-cost models and detailed cost breakdowns for mechanical components — sheet metal parts, steel tubes, copper tubes, fabricated assemblies, machined parts and welded structures — and use them to support commercial negotiations, supplier cost analysis, value engineering and cost reduction across the offer lifecycle. You give the sourcing team data-driven insight into manufacturing cost, material cost, labour content and conversion cost.

You work closely with Procurement, Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing and Suppliers to identify cost optimisation opportunities and improve overall supply chain competitiveness.

As an individual contributor you execute operational and functional strategies within the procurement discipline, applying specialised knowledge to deliver results that directly impact offer creation. You decide on your own work and priorities within established policies and procedures, guide other professionals on non-routine procurement issues, and your work is occasionally reviewed for quality against organisational standards.
