Global HR Services, Specialist
This role is pivotal in delivering a smooth and efficient employee experience across the employee lifecycle. As a Specialist within Global HR Delivery, you will support high quality HR operations by ensuring accurate HRIS processing, timely service outcomes, and consistent employee and manager support, while partnering with key stakeholders to maintain strong service standards and continuous improvement.
- Manage end-to-end onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a seamless and positive joining experience.
- Coordinate with Talent Acquisition, IT, Admin, Security, and business stakeholders to ensure timely completion of pre-joining and joining formalities.
- Initiate and track pre-employment documentation, background verification and other compliance requirements as per company guidelines.
- Ensure accurate creation and maintenance of new hire records in HR systems, including personal details, employment information, reporting structure, and statutory data.
- Conduct or support onboarding orientation sessions by explaining key HR policies, benefits, code of conduct, employee self-service tools, and process expectations etc.
- Act as the primary point of contact for recent hire queries during the onboarding phase and provide timely resolution or escalation where required.
- Monitor onboarding milestones and ensure completion of system access, asset allocation, email creation, induction schedules, and mandatory trainings in coordination with relevant teams.
- Validate onboarding data for accuracy and completeness to support payroll inputs, statutory compliance, employee benefits enrolment, and HR reporting.
- Maintain onboarding trackers, dashboards, and status reports,
highlighting pending actions, process gaps, and risks to stakeholders.
- Support audit readiness by maintaining complete onboarding documentation, approvals, and evidence in line with internal controls and data privacy requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding efficiency, employee experience, documentation quality, and first-time-right processing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field.
- Relevant HR operations / HR shared services experience (5-8 years).
- Relevant HR operations / HR shared services experience, preferably with strong exposure to onboarding processes.
Core Competencies & Skills
- Knowledge or proficiency in HRIS platforms (Oracle, Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors).
- Analytical skills with the ability to validate information and prepare reports.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent English communication with a customer‑centric approach.
- Ability to work with high accuracy and attention to detail in a process‑driven environment.
- Problem‑solving capability to handle system/data issues or more complex cases (higher levels).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet service-level targets.
- Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to recommend or drive process enhancements.
