Role & responsibilities

- Provide production support for special processes, ensuring process stability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

- Develop, maintain, and optimize special processes while identifying and implementing improvement initiatives.

- Serve as the technical expert for Thermal Spray, Shot Peening, Grit Blasting, and Waterjet Cutting/Stripping processes.

- Define tooling requirements and develop industrial resource and capability programs to support manufacturing needs.

- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex technical and production-related issues.

- Prepare special process qualification packages and provide technical support during customer, regulatory, and internal process audits.

- Propose and implement changes to product definitions, manufacturing methods, and process operating procedures.

- Define, coordinate, and execute industrial validation plans for special processes and associated equipment.

- Perform detailed product and process data analysis to drive process capability, quality improvements, and operational efficiency.

- Create, review,



validate, and maintain technical documentation, work instructions, specifications, and process standards.

- Ensure effective management, configuration control, and traceability of technical developments within assigned areas of responsibility.

- Lead knowledge capitalization and best-practice sharing activities to strengthen technical expertise across the organization.

- Challenge and follow the KPI (FTY, OTD, HR, PI) for the department

Operational:

- B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering

- Experience in Machine Shop or Special Processes

- Problem solving, Communication & Team working

- Ensure conformity through PPAP and quality control.

- Mastery of plan reading and tolerancing

- Experience in process development and optimization.

- Robust problem-solving skills and familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts.

- Understanding of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
