Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of cloud-native, high-performance data pipelines and microservices.
Build, support, and modernize production applications using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Apache Flink, Apache Beam, and GCP services.
Drive migration and re-platforming of legacy applications to modern cloud-native architectures with minimal service disruption.
Own live production applications and monitor and optimize pipeline, application, and service performance.
Ensure data quality, integrity, resilience, and security across the end-to-end engineering environment.
Define transformation roadmaps and deliver new features and enhancements with cross-functional teams.
Coach and mentor engineers across multiple levels and promote data engineering best practices.
Report risks and issues proactively and develop practical mitigation plans.

Requirements
18+ years of development engineering experience with robust ETL and data pipeline delivery experience.




Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
Strong hands-on experience with Java and SQL, plus front-end exposure to React and TypeScript.
Experience with GCP data and cloud services, Kubernetes deployments, and Helm.
Working knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
Good understanding of cloud and Kubernetes security best practices; DevOps skills are advantageous.
Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
