Software Verification Lead

We are seeking an experienced DO-178C Software Verification Lead to spearhead our software verification strategy for a DO-178C DAL A compliant FCC software solution for an eVTOL platform. The role involves leading requirements-based testing, integration testing, structural coverage, traceability, compliance reviews, and verification team execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and lead the software verification strategy, plans, methods, environments, and execution approach.
- Drive requirements-based testing, low-level testing, software integration testing, robustness testing, and regression testing.
- Plan and lead structural coverage analysis, including MC/DC coverage achievement and closure.
- Ensure bidirectional traceability among requirements, test cases, procedures, results, anomalies, and applicable code/design artifacts.
- Review verification cases, procedures, scripts, results, reports, and certification evidence.
- Track verification progress, coverage, defects, risks, compliance gaps, and closure actions.
- Support customer reviews, quality reviews, certification audits,



and compliance assessments.
- Mentor verification engineers and coordinate with development, systems, configuration management, quality, and certification teams.

Qualification Criteria:
- Robust experience in DO-178C software verification.
- Hands-on experience with requirements-based testing and verification test planning.
- Practical knowledge of structural coverage analysis and MC/DC.
- Experience maintaining requirements-to-test traceability and verification evidence.
- Experience in software integration testing, defect investigation, and verification reporting.
- Technical leadership, review, communication, and team coordination skills.
