Software Verification Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Software Verification Engineer to join our team for developing and executing test cases for a DO-178C DAL A compliant FCC solution for an eVTOL platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and safety of our software, requiring a keen attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in software testing and verification with a passion for advancing technology in the aviation sector.

2 to 5 years

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze software requirements and develop reviewable test cases, procedures, scripts, and expected results.
- Execute requirements-based, integration, robustness, and regression tests.
- Develop or maintain test automation scripts and support repeatable test execution.
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, report anomalies, and verify defect fixes.
- Maintain bidirectional traceability between requirements, test cases, procedures, results, and defects.
- Record objective evidence and support preparation of verification reports and certification deliverables.
- Participate in requirements, test case, procedure, result, and compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with development, systems,



configuration management, quality, and certification teams.

Qualification Criteria:
- Experience developing and executing software test cases and procedures.
- Knowledge of requirements-based testing and software integration testing.
- Exposure to test automation using Python or an equivalent scripting/tool environment.
- Experience maintaining test traceability and verification evidence.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM, or Polarion.
- Robust analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated commitment to the DO-178C standard or similar safety-critical software
