Software Development Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled FCC Software Solution Lead to spearhead the architecture, design, implementation, integration, and technical review of a DO-178C DAL A compliant FCC software solution for an eVTOL platform. This role demands technical direction for safety-critical embedded software and requires effective coordination with systems, hardware, verification, quality, and certification teams. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology and ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Experience Required

Key Responsibilities

- Lead FCC software architecture, detailed design, Embedded C development, and integration activities.
- Guide development of bootloader, Built-In Test (BIT), redundancy management, autopilot, and supporting platform functions.
- Translate allocated requirements into robust software architecture, design, interfaces, and implementation.
- Conduct architecture, design, code, integration, and peer reviews and drive action closure.
- Ensure adherence to approved development plans, coding standards, configuration controls, and DO-178C objectives.




- Support integration, debugging, root-cause analysis, defect resolution, and technical risk mitigation.
- Mentor development engineers and coordinate technical interfaces with systems, hardware, verification, and certification teams.

Qualification Criteria:
- Strong hands-on experience in Embedded C development.
- Experience designing and developing real-time software on an RTOS.
- Good understanding of DO-178C software lifecycle processes and certification evidence.
- Experience in avionics or other safety-critical embedded software development.
- Robust knowledge of embedded software architecture, interfaces, integration, debugging, and reviews.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to guide a development team.
