Role OverviewLovely Professional University is looking for an experienced Social Media Leader to drive the university’s social media strategy, digital brand presence, content ecosystem, audience engagement, and online growth across major platforms.

Key Responsibilities· Develop and lead the overall social media strategy aligned with LPU’s brand and business objectives.

· Manage social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and emerging platforms.

· Lead content strategy, digital storytelling, creative campaigns, reels, videos, and social media initiatives.

· Drive growth in reach, engagement, followers, video views, community participation, and brand visibility.

· Plan and execute high-impact campaigns for admissions, academics, placements, student achievements, events, research, and institutional initiatives.

· Monitor social media analytics, audience insights, trends, and sentiment to optimize performance.

· Lead and mentor teams of content creators,



designers, video editors, copywriters, and social media professionals.

· Manage influencers, creators, agencies, and external digital partners.

· Collaborate with Marketing, PR, Admissions, Academics, Placements, and senior leadership.

· Establish social media KPIs, reporting dashboards, governance, and quality standards.

Desired Profile· 12–20 years of relevant experience in Social Media, Digital Marketing, Brand, Content, or Digital Communications.

· Proven experience in leading social media strategy for a large/high-visibility brand or organization.

· Strong understanding of digital trends, content formats, audience engagement, analytics, and social media platforms.

· Excellent leadership, communication, creative thinking, and stakeholder-management skills.

· Experience in the education sector will be an advantage.
