Role Summary The SOC Manager leads the Security Operations Center, ensuring effective monitoring, detection,

response, and mitigation of cybersecurity threats across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day SOC operations and incident response activities
- Lead, mentor, and develop SOC analysts (L1/L2/L3)
- Oversee security monitoring tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IDS/IPS)
- Ensure timely detection, analysis, containment, and remediation of incidents
- Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, SOPs, and runbooks
- Coordinate with IT, risk, compliance, and leadership during security incidents
- Track SOC KPIs, metrics,



and provide regular reports to management
- Support compliance requirements (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, etc.)
- Support in proposals, RFP, RFI, bids, etc.

Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years in cybersecurity, including SOC or incident response experience
- Robust knowledge of threat detection, malware analysis, and attack frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK;)
- Experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms and security operations processes
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on experience on NextGen MDR tools (MS Sentinel, Google SecOps, CS NGSIEM, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or CEH
- A Managed Detection & Response (MDR)ions and shift rotationsA
