We are looking for a Functional Verification Engineer with strong experience in USB 3.x/USB4, USB-C, USB PHY and controller verification. The candidate will be responsible for developing UVM-based verification environments, executing USB compliance and interoperability testing, and debugging issues across simulation, emulation, and silicon.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop USB functional, protocol and performance verification plans.
- Build UVM/SystemVerilog testbenches for USB PHY, host/device and DRP controllers.
- Perform post-silicon USB bring-up, enumeration and link-training debug.
- Execute USB-IF CTS compliance testing for USB 2.0, USB 3.x, USB4 and USB PD.
- Perform signal integrity, eye-diagram and jitter analysis.
- Conduct interoperability testing with hosts, hubs and peripherals.
- Develop regression suites and drive functional coverage closure.




- Debug USB issues across simulation, emulation and silicon.
- Collaborate with RTL and firmware teams on protocol issues.
- Prepare verification reports and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Must-Have Skills:

- 7+ years in SoC Functional Verification.
- 3+ years hands-on USB 3.x / USB4 / USB-C verification.
- Solid UVM, SystemVerilog, SVA experience.
- USB PHY, Host, Device and DRP/OTG controller verification.
- USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen1/Gen2, USB4 knowledge.
- USB-C, USB PD 3.1 and Alt Mode knowledge.
- USB-IF compliance and interoperability testing.
- Experience with VCS / Xcelium / Questa.
- USB protocol analyzers such as Ellisys / Teledyne LeCroy / Total Phase.
- Python/Perl scripting and Git/Perforce.
