Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SOC Analyst – L2 to join our Security Operations Centre team. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, investigating and responding to security events and incidents across customer environments.

The role requires solid knowledge of SIEM, network security, log analysis, incident response and vulnerability management, along with excellent communication and customer-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle security incidents escalated from L1 SOC Analysts.
- Investigate and analyse security events to determine the scope and root cause of incidents.
- Monitor security events through SIEM, ticketing systems, email and phone channels.
- Perform deep-dive analysis of logs and security datasets.
- Identify affected systems, endpoints and network assets.
- Support incident containment, escalation and remediation activities.
- Perform proactive threat hunting and identify stealthy or emerging threats.
- Review vulnerabilities and CVEs affecting monitored assets.
- Create and enhance SIEM use cases based on emerging threats.
- Assist in maintaining and updating SIEM configurations and security processes.
- Prepare and review weekly/monthly security reports.
- Ensure incidents and service requests are completed within SLA.
- Maintain accurate tickets, worklogs, customer documentation and configuration records.
- Coordinate with L1, L3, Service Delivery Manager and customer teams.
- Support and guide L1 SOC Analysts on technical issues.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and industry practices.
- Ensure adherence to defined security policies, procedures and processes.

Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience as a SOC Analyst / Security Analyst.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms.
- ELK and Wazuh experience is preferred.
- Exposure to Splunk,



ArcSight or other SIEM platforms is an advantage.
- Strong security event and log analysis skills.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP and network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of common network services including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, email and authentication.
- Understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS and NAC.
- Knowledge of host-based firewalls, anti-malware and HIDS.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux/UNIX operating systems.
- Ability to trace and identify endpoints based on ticket/event information.
- Understanding of incident response, escalation and RCA.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a 24×7 rotational environment.

Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred. Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
