- Design, build, and optimize data models and pipelines within Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain data transformation workflows using DBT (data build tool).
- Build and integrate AI/ML features using Snowflake Cortex AI capabilities.
- Implement best practices for data modeling (e.g., star schema, dimensional modeling) within Snowflake.
- Collaborate with the development team to design scalable, maintainable data transformation logic.
- Optimize query and pipeline performance, and manage Snowflake compute/storage efficiently.
- Write and maintain DBT tests, documentation, and version-controlled transformation code.
- 5-8 years of experience in data engineering, with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake and DBT.
- Experience with or strong interest in Snowflake Cortex AI features for applied AI use cases.
- Robust SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing/dimensional modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD for analytics engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile development team.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
