Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and technically competent Site In-Charge to manage and supervise water and wastewater treatment plant operations at our Taloja, Mumbai site. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in RO, ETP and WTP operations, along with proven expertise in manpower management, client coordination, plant performance monitoring and MIS reporting.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and reliable operation of the treatment plant while maintaining process parameters, manpower productivity, client satisfaction and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Overall responsibility for day-to-day operation and management of the water and wastewater treatment plant.
- Supervise and monitor RO, ETP and WTP operations and ensure smooth plant performance.
- Monitor critical process parameters and ensure operation as per defined SOPs and operating standards.
- Identify operational issues, process deviations and equipment-related problems and coordinate with the concerned technical/maintenance team for resolution.
- Ensure proper operation and monitoring of pumps, motors, blowers, dosing systems, filters, membranes and other plant equipment.
- Manage and allocate manpower as per operational requirements and shift schedules.
- Lead and guide operators, technicians and other site personnel to ensure efficient work execution.
- Maintain proper shift planning, attendance, manpower deployment and productivity.
- Coordinate effectively with the client regarding daily operations, plant performance, operational issues and site requirements.
- Handle client queries and ensure timely resolution of operational concerns.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports related to plant operations, manpower, production,



consumption and performance.
- Maintain operational records, log sheets, checklists and other required site documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, SOPs and statutory requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks and promote safe working practices among site employees.
- Monitor chemical consumption and optimize chemical dosing wherever applicable.
- Monitor plant performance and take corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the plant and surrounding areas.
- Support audits, inspections and client reviews as required.
- Ensure timely submission of reports and operational data to the management.
- Take ownership of site-level operational performance and ensure continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in the Water & Wastewater Treatment Industry.
- Strong hands-on experience in RO / ETP / WTP operations.
- Good technical understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes.
- Experience in manpower handling and team management.
- Strong client communication and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of plant documentation and MIS reporting.
- Ability to independently manage site operations and handle operational challenges.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Positive verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of occupational health, safety and environmental practices will be preferred.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.

Desired Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a hands-on Site In-Charge / Plant In-Charge / Operations professional with strong experience in RO, ETP and WTP operations. Candidates who have previously handled large manpower teams, client coordination and complete site operations will be preferred.
