About Us

Canam Limo is a Toronto-based luxury ground transportation company serving the Greater Toronto Area and destinations across Ontario. We specialize in special events and celebrations, including weddings, proms, parties, and group transportation, as well as point-to-point transfers such as airport travel. Our fleet includes stretch limousines, party buses, coach buses, and vans.

We are investing significantly in our social media presence and are seeking a skilled content professional to own our short-form content pipeline.

The Role The foundation of this position is editing craft: the ability to build vertical video that performs on TikTok and Instagram. Pacing, structure, sound, and hooks are the skills we will weigh most heavily when reviewing applications.

Alongside editing, a significant portion of the content you produce will be created using AI video and image generation tools rather than sourced from live footage. This is a deliberate element of our content strategy. It allows us to publish at volume year-round, and to depict seasons, settings, and scenarios that are impractical to capture on a conventional shoot schedule.

We do not require candidates to be experts in AI generation from day one. These tools are current, they evolve rapidly, and we consider the skill set to be highly trainable for the right editor. We do require demonstrated interest, some hands-on exposure, and a clear willingness to develop this capability quickly. We will provide the tools, the budget, and the time to do so.

Responsibilities

- Edit high-performing vertical video (Reels, TikToks, and Shorts) that hooks viewers within the first one to two seconds and holds attention.
- Take raw footage from our shoots and shape it into polished, on-brand, sound-on, mobile-first content.




- Generate original video and imagery using AI tools, and integrate it with live footage to produce a seamless, consistent final product.
- Apply on-screen text, captions, pacing, and sound design or music selection appropriate to each platform.
- Design social carousels and static graphic posts.
- Build shot lists and provide our on-location team with clear guidance on angles and coverage, ensuring footage returns edit-ready.
- Collaborate with management on content ideas, shoot planning, and a year-round content calendar.
- Maintain current knowledge of both short-form trends and the evolving AI generation landscape.

Requirements

- A strong portfolio of short-form video work, particularly Reels and TikTok, with demonstrable performance (please include metrics where available).
- Expert editing and pacing built for vertical, sound-on, mobile-first viewing.
- Strong instincts for hooks, captions, and on-screen text that drive watch time and action.
- Demonstrated interest in AI video and image generation, with some hands-on experience and the ability to develop expertise quickly. This is a core and growing component of the role.
- Trend and audio literacy, including an understanding of what music and audio is cleared for commercial and business accounts.
- Sound judgment in maintaining brand accuracy. All content, including generated content, must reflect our actual fleet and service standards.




- Excellent written English and communication skills suited to fully asynchronous, remote collaboration.
- Self-directed, reliable, and organized, with the ability to manage your own workflow and deadlines.
- Availability and commitment to a full-time schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with current AI video or image generation models, such as Veo, Seedance, Kling, Runway, Nano Banana, or Flux.
- Experience marketing a local service, events, hospitality, or luxury brand.
- Motion graphics, sound design, or colour grading skills.
- Familiarity with performance analytics and iterative content optimization.
- Understanding of consent and likeness considerations when working with footage of real clients at weddings and events.

Tools and Support Canam Limo provides and funds all software required for this role, including editing tools and full access to leading AI video and image generation platforms. As the toolset evolves, we will ensure you have access to what you need.
