What this role actually does The Shopify & CRO Specialist owns website performance for a portfolio of D2C brands. This role improves conversion rates through theme edits, landing page builds, A/B testing, and page speed work — sitting at the intersection of design, code, and data.

Studio APS is a performance marketing agency based in Kolkata. We manage crores in annual ad spend across Meta, Google, and Amazon for fast-growing D2C brands. We work in pod structures, go deep on fewer brands, and focus on measurable growth outcomes.

Your week, roughly

- Edit and build in Shopify — theme customisations, new sections, landing pages
- Run CRO audits to identify where customers are dropping off in the funnel
- Set up and analyse A/B tests on product pages, checkout, and landing pages
- Optimise page speed and Core Web Vitals across assigned brand accounts
- Improve product pages — layout, copy, trust signals, size guides, reviews
- Build ad-specific landing pages in collaboration with the media buying team
- Support the SEO team with technical site fixes
- Report on conversion metrics monthly and recommend next actions

What we are looking for

- 2+ years working hands-on in Shopify — you should be comfortable in the theme editor
- Basic Liquid knowledge is a strong plus




- You understand what makes a D2C product page convert, not just how it looks
- Familiarity with Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or similar heatmap tools
- Detail-oriented — you notice checkout friction before the client does
- Agency experience managing multiple client accounts preferred
