A Snapshot of Your Day To support the Service Automation team within Siemens Energy's Digital Core, this role is established to backfill capacity and address the increased workload from expanded responsibilities and upcoming strategic Energy Now initiatives. Operating at the Experienced Professional (P2) level in India, the consultant will ensure operational stability, service excellence, and successful execution across key service areas. To address these business aims, the role focuses on ServiceNow ITSM solution design, platform configuration, and stakeholder collaboration.

These core areas ensure alignment between business processes and technical implementations while driving out-of-the-box (OOTB) adoption and minimizing platform customizations.

How You’ll Make An Impact

- ServiceNow Solution Design & Implementation
- Design and deliver scalable, upgrade-safe solutions across ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge Management) leveraging out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities.
- Configure core platform architecture, including Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, custom scripting, and third-party tool integrations (e.g., Snowflake, Jira, Salesforce).
- Implement and manage technical integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and Import Sets, ensuring alignment with platform security models and ACLs.
- Promote OOTB adoption, minimize unnecessary customizations, and leverage ServiceNow AI capabilities to deliver efficient solutions.

- Functional Consulting & Stakeholder Management

- Conduct discovery workshops and sessions with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into functional specifications.
- Prepare comprehensive design documents and define acceptance criteria to guide technical teams and review final solution designs.
- Provide strategic recommendations on ServiceNow best practices, process optimization, and alignment with CMDB, CSDM, and SPM modules.





- Project Delivery & Operational Support

- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum and SAFe delivery environments to support the execution of strategic EnergyNow projects and initiatives.
- Perform acceptance testing, validate solutions against requirements, and coordinate deployment activities with delivery partners to ensure operational stability.

What You Bring

- 6 to 8 years of professional experience in ServiceNow ITSM implementation and techno-functional consulting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM).
- ServiceNow ITSM implementation and techno-functional consulting experience.
- ServiceNow Core Architecture & • Administration.

- Flow Designer & • IntegrationHub Configuration.

- ServiceNow Scripting & • Customization Best Practices.

- Integration Technologies (REST, SOAP, MID Server, Import Sets).
- IT Service Management (ITSM) Process Design.
