Position: Service Manager – Commercial Vehicles

Department: Service

Experience: 5–10 years in automobile service operations, preferably commercial vehicles

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the complete commercial vehicle service operations.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the service workshop.
- Lead and monitor Service Advisors, Technicians, CREs, and workshop staff.
- Ensure timely vehicle delivery and achieve customer satisfaction targets.
- Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency, job card flow, and bay utilization.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure quick resolution of service-related issues.
- Monitor warranty claims, repeat repairs, and technical concerns.
- Ensure proper diagnosis, repair quality, and adherence to manufacturer standards.
- Track service revenue, labour sales, parts sales, and workshop performance.
- Coordinate with Parts, Sales, Warranty, and other departments for smooth operations.
- Conduct regular team meetings,



performance reviews, and technical training.
- Ensure compliance with OEM processes, safety standards, and workshop procedures.
- Monitor service KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for management.
- Develop strategies to improve customer retention and increase workshop business.

Required Skills:

- Strong leadership and team-management skills
- Good knowledge of commercial vehicle service operations
- Customer handling and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of workshop processes, warranty, and service KPIs
- Ability to achieve business and customer satisfaction targets

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
