What this role actually does The SEO & AEO Lead owns organic search performance for a portfolio of 8–10 D2C brands. This role drives keyword strategy, technical health, content execution, and answer engine optimisation — working closely with me buyers and account managers to compound organic growth alongside paid.

Studio APS is a performance marketing agency based in Kolkata. We manage crores in annual ad spend across Meta, Google, and Amazon for fast-growing D2C brands. We work in pod structures, go deep on fewer brands, and focus on measurable growth outcomes.

Your week, roughly

- Manage end-to-end SEO strategy and execution for 8–10 D2C brand accounts
- Run technical SEO — audits, schema, crawl fixes, Core Web Vitals, page speed
- Optimise product pages, category pages, and blog content for search intent
- Write SEO briefs for the content team and review output
- Research and map keywords across all assigned brands monthly
- Track rankings, traffic, and conversions via Google Search Console and GA4
- Optimise for AEO — structuring content to appear in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google SGE
- Manage GMB profiles for local brand presence where applicable
- Build links and execute off-page strategy with 25+ earned assets per month

What we are looking for

- 3+ years in SEO,



ideally with D2C or eCommerce brands
- Strong technical SEO foundation — GA4, GSC, Screaming Frog, SE Ranking or similar
- Comfortable managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
- You think in revenue and business outcomes, not just rankings
- AEO and AI search experience is a bonus — we will train the right person
- Agency background preferred but not required
