Sanskar Educational Group is a 20+ year-old higher education institution offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs across Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Computer Applications, Architecture and Fashion Design.

We are building our digital marketing function in-house and are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist who can take complete ownership of improving our organic visibility, search rankings and inbound student enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the complete SEO strategy for Sanskar Educational Group.
- Conduct detailed keyword research, competitor analysis and search-intent mapping, particularly for education and college-admission searches.
- Improve rankings for high-intent keywords such as course, college, fees, admissions, location and comparison-related searches.
- Perform on-page, off-page and technical SEO and identify opportunities to improve website authority and organic traffic.
- Build and execute a high-quality backlink and off-page SEO strategy.
- Create SEO-focused content plans, topic clusters, landing pages and blog strategies.
- Research and write/edit high-quality, search-optimised blogs and website content.
- Optimise individual program pages for B.Tech, BCA, BBA, MBA, Pharmacy, Architecture, Fashion Design, Diploma and other programs.
- Work with developers to resolve technical SEO issues including indexing, crawlability, site structure, schema, Core Web Vitals, page speed and internal linking.
- Manage and analyse performance through Google Search Console, GA4 and SEO tools such as Ahrefs/Semrush.
- Improve Local SEO and Google Business Profile visibility.
- Monitor competitors' rankings, content and backlink strategies and identify opportunities for Sanskar.




- Understand and implement AI-search optimisation / GEO to improve visibility across Google AI results and AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Gemini.
- Use AI tools intelligently for research, content briefs, analysis and productivity while maintaining content quality and originality.
- Track organic enquiries and admissionsnot just trafficand provide clear monthly reporting on rankings, traffic, leads and conversions.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in the education / higher-education industry.
- Proven experience improving Google rankings for competitive keywords.
- Strong knowledge of keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, content SEO and link building.
- Strong understanding of Google Search Console, GA4 and tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Keyword Planner, etc.
- Good content writing/editing skills and understanding of search intent.
- Working knowledge of ChatGPT, Gemini and other AI tools for SEO and content workflows.
- Understanding of current Google algorithm changes and up-to-date SEO practices.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of organic growth.

Most Important: We are not looking for someone whose SEO experience is limited to publishing blogs and generating backlinks.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate previous SEO results through examples such as:

- Keywords moved into Google Top 3 / Top 10
- Growth in non-branded organic traffic
- Growth in organic enquiries/leads
- Successful education-sector SEO campaigns
- Pages/content created that consistently generate organic traffic

Candidates should be prepared to discuss their previous SEO work and results during the interview. Goal of the Role: Build Sanskar Educational Group into one of the strongest organically visible higher-education brands for relevant course and admission searches across Ghaziabad, Hapur, Delhi NCR and Western Uttar Pradesh.
