Join ReBrand GurusReBrand Gurus is looking for an experienced Senior Web Infrastructure & Security Administrator to take ownership of our web infrastructure, hosting, server management, website security and technical troubleshooting. If you have strong hands-on experience beyond basic WordPress development and can confidently manage infrastructure and security issues, we’d like to hear from you.

About the RoleReBrand Gurus is a boutique creative technology agency working with multiple businesses across websites, mobile apps, SEO/AEO/GEO and digital platforms.

We are looking for a Senior Web Infrastructure & Security Administrator who can take ownership of the technical infrastructure behind our growing portfolio of client websites and online platforms.

This is not simply a WordPress developer role.

You will be responsible for keeping our websites, hosting environments, domains, emails and servers secure, stable, backed up and running properly.

What You Will OwnHosting & Server Management

- Manage multiple websites hosted on platforms such as Hostinger, hPanel, cPanel and VPS environments.
- Monitor server health, disk usage, CPU/RAM usage and website performance.
- Troubleshoot server-level issues affecting multiple websites.
- Manage PHP versions, databases, cron jobs, permissions and server configurations.
- Handle website migrations, DNS changes and hosting migrations.
- Maintain reliable backups and perform restorations when required.
- Work with SSH and the Linux command line when necessary.

WordPress Administration
- Manage and troubleshoot multiple WordPress websites.
- Diagnose plugin, theme, PHP, database and compatibility issues.
- Resolve broken layouts, 500/502/503 errors, database errors and white screens.
- Handle WordPress updates safely.
- Manage WooCommerce websites.
- Maintain staging and production environments.
- Improve website security and performance.

Shopify
- Troubleshoot Shopify stores and themes.
- Manage domains, DNS and store configurations.
- Troubleshoot Shopify apps and integrations.
- Assist with payment,



email and third-party integration issues.

Domains, DNS & SSLStrong hands-on knowledge of:
- A records

- DNS propagation and troubleshooting

Email AdministrationManage and troubleshoot business email systems including:
- Google Workspace
- Microsoft 365

- SMTP

You should be able to diagnose:
- Emails going to spam
- Emails not being delivered
- MX problems
- SPF/DKIM/DMARC issues
- SMTP authentication problems
- Domain/email configuration issues

Website & Server SecuritySecurity is a major responsibility of this position.

You should be comfortable with:

- Malware detection and removal
- WordPress malware cleanup
- Identifying infected files
- Suspicious PHP/code investigation
- Backdoor detection
- Compromised administrator accounts
- Malicious plugins/themes
- File permission issues
- Brute-force attacks
- Vulnerability remediation
- Firewall configuration
- Cloudflare/WAF
- Server hardening
- Security monitoring
- Access control
- Log investigation
- Backup verification
- Post-malware cleanup monitoring

You must understand that simply deleting an infected file is not necessarily a complete malware cleanup. You should be able to investigate the source of the compromise and determine whether other websites or accounts on the server may also be affected.

- Can investigate problems independently.
- Doesn't panic when multiple websites suddenly go down.
- Understands server-level problems.
- Takes security seriously.
- Documents changes and incidents.
- Knows how to troubleshoot before making random changes.
- Can communicate technical problems clearly to a non-technical team.
- Is comfortable taking ownership of infrastructure supporting multiple client websites.

ImportantA candidate who only knows how to:

- Install WordPress
- Install plugins
- Edit themes
- Build Elementor pages
- Fix basic CSS

is not suitable for this position. We are specifically looking for someone who can operate at the hosting/server/security level.

Responsibilities During a Security IncidentIf malware or a server compromise occurs, you will be expected to:

1. Identify the affected server/websites.
2. Preserve/verify backups before making destructive changes.
3. Investigate logs and suspicious activity.
4. Identify infected files and possible entry points.
5. Isolate affected websites where appropriate.
6. Remove malware/backdoors.
7. Reset compromised credentials.
8. Patch vulnerable software.
9. Scan related websites/accounts.
10. Verify the server is clean.
11. Restore affected websites if necessary.
12. Monitor for reinfection.
13. Document the incident and recommended prevention measures.

What Success Looks LikeThe person in this role becomes the technical guardian of ReBrand Gurus' web infrastructure.

When a website breaks, an email stops working, a domain has DNS problems, a server becomes unstable, or malware is detected, please take ownership and resolve the issue.
