About the Role

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can create engaging, high-quality video content for social media platforms, especially Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts + long video and promotional videos.

The ideal candidate should understand not just editing, but also content, storytelling, pacing and social media trends.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form videos
- Create engaging cuts, transitions, subtitles, text animations and sound effects
- Edit talking-head, educational, promotional and business content
- Select suitable music, B-roll and visual elements
- Maintain consistent brand style across videos
- Understand hooks, retention and pacing for social media content
- Work according to deadlines and content calendars
- Take feedback and make revisions quickly
- Stay updated with current video editing and social media trends

Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / CapCut




- Basic to advanced knowledge of After Effects is a plus
- Good understanding of short-form content and Reels
- Good sense of timing, storytelling and visual composition
- Knowledge of subtitles, motion graphics and sound design
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Good communication and attention to detail

Preferred
- Experience working with social media agencies, brands or creators
- Knowledge of AI video editing/generative AI tools
- Understanding of Instagram and YouTube content trends
- Basic knowledge of thumbnail/design tools is an advantage

Who We're Looking For We don't need someone who can simply "cut and join clips."

We are looking for an editor who can understand why a video will work, improve the content through editing and create videos that are engaging, professional and platform-friendly.
