1. Prepares tax returns for clients in various types of entities and industries.
2. Works with the tax team to ensure the various components of the tax process are completed,
including tax planning, client interaction and performing special tax projects. 3.Gathers relevant tax-related information from client so an accurate return can be prepared.
1. Performs tax preparation at clients offices while audits are taking place.
2. Performs research activities as tax issues arise.
6.Communicates with clients, the IRS and other business professionals as needed.
1. Coordinates various activities to meet client needs within a specified time frame.
2. Trains and mentors lower-level employees in the tax department.
9.Understands and applies work procedures and effectively tailors plans as necessary.
1. Maintains awareness of general business trends and issues,
and applies that knowledge to client
issues and solutions. 11.Participates in the area of business development.

Preferred candidate profile
1. Bachelors Degree in Accounting required.
2. 3-4 years of experience in tax accounting required.
3.Valid Certified Public Accountant license or working towards obtaining CPA license preferred; Enrolled Agent (EA) certification also accepted.
