Role Summary

Seeking an experienced Power BI engineer. The role focuses on designing scalable analytics data models, building trusted reporting datasets, supporting enterprise BI initiatives, and enabling Power BI semantic models through robust analytics engineering practices.

This engagement is a analytics modernization initiative aimed at using Power BI for enterprise reporting and analytics. The Power BI Engineer will play a critical role in modernizing the legacy reports like QlikSense, SAP BusinessObjects, and Posit to Power BI, understanding the client requirement.

The role will work closely with client business stakeholders, data teams, and architects to understand reporting requirements, build trusted Power BI reports.

What You’ll Do

Key technical skills :

Power BI:

Strong expertise in Power BI Pro, Premium, and Paginated reports.

Advanced use of DAX, Power Query, and M language

Experience with Dataflows, Incremental Refresh, RLS, and Data Modeling.

Experience on report migrations from legacy BI platforms to Power BI.

Microsoft Fabric:

Hands-on experience building reporting solutions using Power BI on Microsoft Fabric

Good to have experience working with Fabric Copilots

Must-Have Skills

Recent 3+ years of experience in Power BI working on atleast 2+ projects

Around 1+ year of experience working with Microsoft Fabric (Power BI) on atleast 1 customer Project

2+ years of experience working with Business and IT stakeholders giving client demo for reports.

Good to Have

Qlik , Business Object (SAP BO), Healthcare Domain Knowledge

professional with over 3+ years of experience in DA solution implementation and client engagement. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric,
