Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with intensive hands-on experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs), API development/integration, and complete ownership of RICEF-W components

(Reports, Conversions, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows). The ideal candidate must have deep technical expertise in building scalable ABAP solutions,

integrating with external and internal systems via APIs, and working in complex SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

Core ABAP Development

- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP solutions across SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, CO, etc.).
- Develop and manage all types of RICEF-W objects:

- Reports (ALV, Classical)
- Conversions (BDC, LSMW)
- Interfaces (IDoc, Proxy, API)
- Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enh. Points)
- Forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms)
- Workflow (BPM/BRF+ Integration)

API & Integration:
- Design and implement RESTful and SOAP-based APIs using SAP

NetWeaver Gateway, OData services, and web services.
- Integrate SAP with external systems and third-party platforms using standard and custom APIs.
- Handle security, error handling, and data consistency in API-based integration.

Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPs):
- Develop ABAP solutions using OOPs principles: classes, methods,

inheritance,



polymorphism, interfaces.
- Apply design patterns to build modular, reusable, and scalable code components.

Performance Optimization & Best Practices:
- Analyze and improve the performance of ABAP programs using runtime analysis and SQL trace tools.
- Adhere to SAP coding standards, version control, and documentation practices.

Project Involvement

- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in full software development lifecycle: design, coding, testing

(unit/integration), documentation, deployment.
- Support UAT, go-live, and post-go-live activities.

Key Requirements

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Solid proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP and modern ABAP coding techniques.
- In-depth experience in API development/integration, OData, REST, and

SOAP services.
- Expertise in developing all components of RICEF-W.
- Familiar with ALE/IDoc, BAPI, Enhancement Framework, BRF+, and

BADIs.
- Understanding of module-specific development in SD/MM/FI/CO/PP/HR.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to S/4HANA and Core Data Services (CDS) views.
- Experience in Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP, Cloud Integration, or API Management tools is an advantage.
