Cool AI is Looking for:**** As a Platform Engineer , you’ll treat infrastructure as an internal product—building software, APIs, automation, and self-service tools that help engineers deploy and operate systems reliably.

You’ll bridge Software Engineering and DevOps , with a strong focus on infrastructure automation, observability, Kubernetes, and AI-driven automation .

Ideal Profile

- Someone who combines strong coding + strong infrastructure/DevOps knowledge. This is not a pure DevOps or pure Software Engineering role—the key is the ability to build software and platforms for infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Build self-service infrastructure platforms and APIs around Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.
- Develop AI agents for infrastructure monitoring, root-cause analysis, configuration drift, and automated remediation.
- Build and improve observability and alerting across bare-metal and containerized infrastructure.
- Develop automation and internal tools that reduce manual operational work.
- Partner with DevOps and Engineering teams to identify gaps and proactively build solutions.
- Architect and manage on-premise Kubernetes environments using Docker and Helm.
- Create reusable monitoring “golden paths” for logs, metrics, and tracing.





Must-Have Skills

- Strong software development/coding skills in Go, Python, or Java.
- Strong DevOps/Infrastructure experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Experience building APIs, CLIs, internal tools, or automation frameworks.
- Strong observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar.
- Experience with AWS/GCP or on-premise infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong ownership and self-starter mindset- able to identify problems and build solutions without waiting for tickets.

Good to Have

- AI/LLM or AI-agent experience.
- Bare-metal/on-premise infrastructure experience.
- Custom Ansible modules or Terraform providers.
- Experience integrating LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini.

Interview rounds

- R1 : Rohan's initial hybrid DevOps + coding round;
- R2 : Dedicated DevOps round with DevOps engineer;
- R3 : Dedicated coding/Product Engineering round.
