Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Odoo Functional Consultant with strong experience in understanding business processes, gathering client requirements, and delivering effective Odoo solutions. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing client interactions, performing GAP analysis, preparing functional documentation and Scope of Work (SOW), coordinating with technical and testing teams, and supporting clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Responsibilities

- Gather, understand, and analyze business requirements from clients.
- Conduct independent client meetings and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend suitable Odoo solutions.
- Prepare detailed requirement documents and conduct GAP analysis.
- Identify gaps and customization requirements and prepare the Scope of Work (SOW).
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with the technical team to communicate functional requirements and clarify business processes.
- Test and validate developed features against approved requirements.
- Coordinate with the testing team to ensure successful delivery of functional requirements.
- Manage and validate data import activities.
- Conduct system demonstrations and user training sessions for clients.
- Provide functional support and resolve client queries.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Go-Live activities.




- Monitor functional requirements and ensure alignment between client expectations and project deliverables.
- Identify, track, and resolve functional issues in coordination with internal teams and clients.

Experience

- 3+ years

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
- Relevant Odoo functional certification or implementation experience will be an added advantage.

Must Have

- Strong functional knowledge of the following Odoo modules: Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, Project, Point of Sale (POS) & HRMS
- Strong requirement-gathering and business process analysis skills.
- Ability to independently conduct client meetings and requirement discussions.
- Solid understanding of GAP analysis and identification of customization requirements.
- Ability to prepare clear and structured functional documentation and SOWs.
- Ability to test and validate developed features against business requirements.
- Knowledge of Odoo data import and validation processes.
- Strong client-handling and communication skills.
- Excellent documentation and analytical skills.
- Strong problem-solving and functional troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with technical and QA/testing teams.
- Ability to conduct client demonstrations and user training.
- Good understanding of the complete Odoo implementation lifecycle.
