JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education

- Diploma / B.Sc. in Neuro Technology, Neuro Electrophysiology, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Experience

- 3–6 years of relevant experience in a hospital.

- Experience in EEG, EMG/NCS and other neurodiagnostic procedures.

- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior technician role will be an added advantage.

- Experience in an NABH-accredited hospital preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform and supervise EEG, sleep EEG, EMG/NCS and other assigned neurodiagnostic procedures.

- Ensure proper patient preparation, electrode placement and quality of recordings.

- Operate, maintain and perform basic troubleshooting of neurodiagnostic equipment.

- Monitor patients during procedures and immediately report clinical or technical concerns.





- Guide junior Neuro Technicians and ensure adherence to departmental procedures.

- Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection and protected handling of equipment.

- Maintain accurate investigation records, reports, procedure logs and departmental registers.

- Coordinate with neurologists, nursing staff and other departments for smooth patient care.

- Ensure compliance with NABH, infection control, patient safety and biomedical waste management requirements.

- Participate in departmental training, audits and quality improvement activities.
