This role sits at the intersection of design and delivery — you're not just drawing layouts, you're seeing them through to the finished site. If you want ownership over the full project arc, from client brief to handover, this is structured for that.

What the work looks like

You spend a significant part of your week in client-facing conversations — understanding briefs, presenting concepts, walking clients through revisions, and securing approvals. You work across residential and commercial spaces, so the problems change frequently: a modular kitchen one week, an office fitout the next.

The technical core of the role is space planning and modular furniture design, produced in AutoCAD and SketchUp. You develop layouts for kitchens, wardrobes, and office furniture systems, and you prepare the BOQs and quotations that turn those designs into contractual documents. Accuracy here matters because your numbers go directly to clients and vendors.

Site supervision is the third dimension of the job. You coordinate with vendors,



track timelines, check quality against the design intent, and flag compliance issues before they become problems. The hours are in office by nature, and the pace follows the project calendar.

We're looking for someone with:

- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in interior design, specifically with modular furniture projects
- A degree or diploma in Architecture or Interior Design
- Working proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, used regularly rather than occasionally
- Demonstrated ability to prepare BOQs and client-facing quotations with accuracy
- Confidence in client communication — presenting, revising, and managing expectations through a project cycle
- Experience coordinating with vendors and supervising sites against design and quality standards
- A methodical approach to managing multiple projects at different stages simultaneously
