Role Description The Senior Interior Designer is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position includes leading interior design projects from concept to completion, developing design schemes, and preparing space plans that align with client requirements and project constraints. The role involves coordinating with architects, consultants, and vendors, overseeing FF&E; selection, and ensuring construction drawings are accurate and executable.

The Senior Interior

Designer will conduct site visits, monitor workmanship and finishes, and address design challenges to maintain quality, timelines, and budgets.



The role also includes presenting design proposals, managing client communication, and mentoring junior designers to uphold the studio’s design standards.

Qualifications

- Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically compelling layouts.
- Solid background in Architecture, including understanding of structural and building systems relevant to interior projects.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings, details, and specifications for execution on site.
- Expertise in FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, coordination, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in interior design, including leading medium to large-scale projects, preferably in commercial or high-end residential sectors.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Strong communication, client management, and team leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and a portfolio showcasing sophisticated, innovative design work.
