About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst with strong experience in Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), enterprise integration, microservices, and requirements analysis.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA teams, and application teams, translating business requirements into clear functional specifications and supporting successful implementation and testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Define events, workflows, data flows, use cases, and integration requirements.
- Work closely with architects and developers on EDA and integration solutions.
- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, data models, and integration documents.
- Support event-driven workflows, system integration, and business process mapping.
- Lead and coordinate UAT, including test scenarios, test cases, validation, and defect tracking.
- Work with QA and business teams to identify and resolve functional issues.
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to documentation standards and process improvements.

Must-Have Skills





- 5–10 years of experience as a Functional Analyst / Business Analyst.
- Solid experience in Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), enterprise integration, or microservices.
- Understanding of:

Event sourcing

Pub/Sub models

Event streams

Integration patterns

APIs and system integration

Data flows and process modelling
- Strong experience in functional documentation and requirement analysis.
- Experience working with UAT, test cases, validation, and defect management.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.

Good to Have

- Experience with Kafka / Confluent or similar event-streaming platforms.
- Experience with cloud-based event management solutions.
- Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.
- Agile / Scrum / Kanban experience.
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise integration projects.
