Key Responsibilities

Backend Development &

- Architecture

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js, and related frameworks.

- Build RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures to support business critical applications.

- Design and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SSO).

- Develop reusable backend components and services following industry best practices.

- Drive architectural decisions to ensure scalability, maintainability, and high availability.

Database Development &

- Optimization

- Design, develop, and maintain complex database schemas in PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.

- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database scripts.

- Monitor and improve database performance through indexing, query tuning, and execution plan analysis.

- Ensure database security, backup strategies, replication, and disaster recovery readiness.

- Manage large datasets and optimize database interactions for high-throughput applications.

Performance &

- Reliability

- Identify and resolve application bottlenecks, memory leaks, and performance issues.

- Conduct profiling, debugging, monitoring, and root cause analysis across backend services and databases.

- Implement caching strategies using Redis or similar technologies.

- Ensure system reliability through logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability tools.

Collaboration &

- Quality

- Collaborate with frontend developers to define APIs and integration patterns.

- Participate in architecture reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.





- Conduct peer code reviews and mentor junior developers.

- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

- Work closely with product teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

DevOps &

- Cloud

- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation.

- Support cloud-native deployments on AWS.

- Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Maintain secure and reliable production environments.

Skills &

- Qualifications

Backend Expertise (Mandatory)

- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js, and Microservices Architecture.

- Extensive experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating third party services.

- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and backend design patterns.

Database Expertise (Mandatory)

- Advanced proficiency in PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.

- Strong experience in: Database schema design, Data modelling, Query optimization, Indexing strategies, Stored procedures and functions, Performance tuning, Database security and maintenance

- Experience managing and optimizing large-scale transactional databases.

- Ability to analyse query execution plans and resolve database bottlenecks.

- Front-End Expertise (Preferred)





- Advanced skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular or React (latest versions), HTML, and CSS.

- Strong understanding of responsive design and user experience principles.

General Technical Skills

- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and cloud services (AWS, Google APIs, Apple Health APIs).

- Knowledge of push notifications, authentication (OAuth), and integration with third-party APIs.

- Knowledge of software design patterns, MVC, MVVM, MVP, and Clean Architecture. o Experience with code reviews and quality assurance practices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.

Experience:

- 6+ years of commercial software development experience across front-end and solid focus back-end.

- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable applications in fast paced environments using Node.js and PostgreSQL/MySQL.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Healthcare, SaaS, or enterprise application experience is highly desirable.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate

- Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
