Senior Finance Consultant – De Facto Treasurer

? Punjab | Chandigarh, Patiala or Jalandhar preferred

Khalsa Aid India Charitable Trust is seeking an experienced and highly credible Senior Finance Consultant to provide senior financial leadership and act as our de facto Treasurer.

This is a key role supporting the financial governance, compliance and strategic management of our humanitarian operations across India.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide senior financial and fiduciary oversight to the Trust.
- Develop financial strategy, budgets and long-term financial planning.
- Oversee financial operations, cash flow, expenditure and project disbursements.
- Strengthen financial controls, governance and compliance, including FCRA and Indian charitable trust requirements.
- Lead audit processes and financial risk management.
- Provide financial reporting and strategic advice to the Board of Trustees and UK management.
- Mentor and oversee India-based finance and data teams.

About You
- 15–20 years’ senior finance/accounting experience.
- CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.




- Solid knowledge of Indian financial and non-profit compliance.
- Experience in a charity, NGO or charitable trust is desirable.
- Strong leadership, governance, audit and risk-management skills.
- Fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
- High levels of integrity, transparency and professional ethics.
