Role & responsibilities;;

Candidates to have hands - on experience in :

- Perform blast load calculations (TNT equivalency, scaled distance, reflected pressure, impulse).
- Conduct blast simulationsusing software such as:

- ANSYS Autodyn
- LS-DYNA

- ABAQUS
- SAP2000 / ETABS (for structural response checks)
- Design blast-resistant:

- Reinforced concrete structures

- Steel structures

- UG bunkers and tunnels

- Ammunition storage facilities
- Develop Single degree of freedom (SDOF) models for energetic response analysis.
- Evaluate structural performance based on:

- Ductility ratios

- Support rotation
- Prepare Detailed engineering reports and technical documentation.
- Review and interpret project specifications related to explosion loads.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as:
- UFC 3-340-02

- TM manual

- IATG guidelines

- ASCE blast provisions
