Summary of Role: We are looking for a Staff Business Finance to support MIPS’ IP Licensing and Tools businesses- core growth engines as we scale our RISC‑V and Physical AI platform. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in IFRS revenue recognition and a robust understanding of how to align commercial deal structures with compliant accounting outcomes. This is a hands‑on finance leadership role, embedded in the business and influencing commercial and investment decisions.

Essential Responsibilities

Revenue & Contract Ownership Partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance to structure IP licensing and tools agreements Own end‑to‑end contract economics, including performance obligation assessment and revenue recognition under IFRS 15 Ensure deal structures and revenue timing align with both commercial objectives and accounting requirements Business Partnering Act as the primary finance partner for Product, Engineering,



and Operations leaders Evaluate R&D; investments, cost structures, and profitability across licensing and tools offerings Support pricing, deal strategies, and trade‑off decisions with clear financial insights Financial Leadership Lead end‑to‑end financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for the IP Licensing and Tools businesses Drive forecasting accuracy, operating cadence, variance analysis, and management reporting Proactively identify risks and opportunities and translate them into actionable recommendations AI Enablement & Automation Drive automation across FP&A; and contract workflows, leveraging AI to improve forecast accuracy, efficiency, and scalability while reducing manual, spreadsheet‑driven processes Other Responsibilities: · Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
