Title: Senior Azure Integration Engineer – APIM & Salesforce Integrations

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Azure Integration Engineer with strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integrations using Microsoft Azure Integration Services and Salesforce APIs.

This role is focused on building scalable, secure, and production-ready integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise platforms using Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and related Azure services.

Responsibilities

● Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise integrations using Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid.

● Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming, and related APIs.

● Design and manage secure API layers in Azure APIM, including routing, policies, transformations, authentication, versioning, throttling, monitoring, and error handling.

● Develop synchronous, asynchronous, serverless, and event-driven integration patterns.

● Implement secure authentication using OAuth 2.0, service principals, managed identities, certificates, and secrets management.

● Develop and manage payload mappings and transformations using JSON, XML, XSLT, and related technologies.

● Implement production-grade logging, monitoring, retries, exception handling, and operational controls.

● Troubleshoot integration failures across Salesforce, Azure middleware, APIs, and downstream systems, including root-cause analysis and performance optimization.

● Build and maintain deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, or equivalent tooling.

● Perform API and integration testing using Postman or similar tools.

● Collaborate with architects, developers, application owners, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.





● Maintain technical documentation, integration designs, API specifications, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications

● 7+ years of experience in integration engineering, software development, API development, middleware, or a related technical discipline.

● 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services preferred.

● Strong production experience with Azure API Management (APIM).

● Strong hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.

● Experience with Event Grid or other event-driven integration patterns.

● Demonstrated experience building REST-based enterprise application integrations.

● Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with external enterprise systems.

● Strong experience with Salesforce REST APIs, with SOAP, Bulk, Streaming APIs, Platform Events, or Change Data Capture experience preferred.

● Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, API security, authentication, authorization, and secure integration patterns.

● Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, middleware, microservices, serverless architectures, queues, and publish/subscribe models.

● Hands-on experience with JSON, XML, XSLT, schema mapping, and payload transformations.

● Experience supporting production integrations with logging, monitoring, retries, exception handling, and troubleshooting.

● Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and API testing tools such as Postman.

● Solid communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience integrating with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or other Azure data platforms.

● Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms.

● Experience with Azure Key Vault, Application Insights, and Terraform.

● Salesforce Platform Developer I or relevant Microsoft Azure certifications.

● Experience supporting enterprise-scale or business-critical integrations.

● Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
