Role Description The Senior Automation Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions, including process control systems and electrical panels for industrial projects.

The Senior Automation

Engineer will oversee system configuration, integration, and commissioning, perform advanced troubleshooting, and ensure reliable operation of automation and robotics systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing engineering specifications, preparing technical documentation, coordinating with project teams and clients,



and supporting continuous improvement of plant intelligence and automation strategies. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers and technicians, promoting safety standards, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and quality requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, including design and analysis of industrial electrical systems.
- Advanced skills in Automation and Process Control for industrial applications and plant operations.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting complex automation, control, and electrical issues in live systems.
- Experience working with Robotics and related control technologies in industrial environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and VFDs, including programming and integration.
- Ability to read and create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to safety and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Relevant industry certifications and experience in ISO-compliant environments are an advantage.
