About the Role

As a Senior Associate in GDN Advisory, you will lead consulting workstreams that help organizations design, launch and optimize Global Business Services and Global Capability Center models. You will translate strategic priorities into practical operating models, business cases, transition plans and transformation roadmaps that improve service quality, efficiency and enterprise value. Working with A&M; leaders, client executives and cross-functional teams, you will own analysis, solution design and client-ready deliverables across global markets and industries.

The role combines structured problem solving with hands-on implementation, requiring confidence in senior stakeholder discussions and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will also strengthen the practice through mentoring, proposal development and reusable GCC/GBS frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead GCC and GBS strategy and setup or expansion workstreams, converting client objectives into business cases, target operating models, governance structures and implementation priorities.
- Design TOMs, service delivery frameworks, SLAs and performance metrics that clarify accountability, improve service quality and enable measurable operating performance.
- Conduct location strategy, benchmarking, feasibility and cost-benefit analyses using market, workforce and financial evidence to support defensible investment decisions.
- Manage transition and implementation planning, including milestones, risks, dependencies,



change actions and adoption levers that move recommendations into sustained execution.
- Build financial models, process maps and analytical views that identify efficiency, automation and service excellence opportunities across corporate functions.
- Partner with client executives, A&M; leaders and cross-functional teams to shape solutions, facilitate discussions and deliver clear, high-quality outputs aligned to strategic priorities.
- Mentor Associates and Analysts while contributing to proposals, pitches, thought leadership and reusable GCC/GBS playbooks that expand team capability and business development impact.

Essential Skills & Technologies

- Demonstrated expertise in GBS, GCC or shared services setup, expansion or optimization, with strong understanding of operating model design, process transformation and transition execution.
- Proven ability to develop business cases, financial models, feasibility studies, investment cases and cost-benefit analyses that support senior client decisions.
- Strong proficiency in Excel modelling, PowerPoint and structured data analysis, with the ability to convert complex findings into concise, client-ready recommendations.
- Experience with TOM design, benchmarking, governance frameworks, SLAs, performance metrics and service delivery models across corporate functions or global operating environments.
- Familiarity with digital enablement, intelligent automation, analytics solutions or technology-led transformation, including how these levers improve efficiency and service outcomes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence interacting independently with senior client executives and leading workstream discussions.
- Strong project management, organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage deliverables, risks and timelines in fast-paced, global and multicultural teams.

Additional Plus

- Experience in a top-tier consulting firm, Big Four environment or a recognized advisory practice serving global transformation, shared services or operating model clients.
- Exposure to advanced degrees or professional qualifications such as CA, CFA or a master’s degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting proposal development, thought leadership, internal knowledge building or the creation of GCC/GBS frameworks, tools and playbooks.

- You bring 4–7 years of relevant experience, including 3–6 years after completing an MBA,



with direct exposure to GBS, GCC or shared services strategy, transformation, setup, expansion or optimization.
- You bring the judgment to lead workstreams from structured analysis through client-ready recommendations, balancing strategic thinking with the practical detail required for transition and implementation.
- You bring strong commercial and analytical capability across business case development, financial modelling, benchmarking, location assessment, process mapping, operating model design and performance measurement.
- You bring clear communication and stakeholder leadership, enabling productive discussions with senior executives while mentoring junior colleagues and maintaining high standards for quality, organization and delivery.
- You bring an action-oriented consulting mindset: independent thinking, comfort with ambiguity, attention to detail and a commitment to creating tangible business value rather than producing recommendations that cannot be implemented.
