Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Back-End Developer with 3–5 years of experience to build and maintain scalable, high-performance server-side applications. The ideal candidate should have strong coding skills, a solid understanding of APIs and databases, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable backend services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs
- Build scalable and secure RESTful / microservices-based architectures
- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and product teams to deliver features end-to-end
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Develop and manage database schemas, queries, and integrations
- Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Leverage and adopt AI-assisted development tools and practices to improve productivity and code quality

Must-Have Skills Programming & Frameworks

- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language:
- Java (Spring Boot) / Node.js / Python (Django, Flask) / .NET Core
- Experience in building RESTful APIs and web services




- Solid understanding of object-oriented and/or functional programming concepts

Databases

- Hands-on experience with:
- Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and query optimization

Core Backend Concepts

- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Knowledge of API security (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
- Experience with asynchronous processing and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with caching strategies

DevOps & Tools

- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker)

Valuable to Have

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Exposure to GraphQL APIs
- Understanding of event-driven architecture
- Knowledge of performance monitoring tools (New Relic, Prometheus)
- Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD)

Education
