Job Summary

Looking for an experienced quant and technology specialist to support Financial Services clients. The candidate will be responsible to ensure the alignment of client’s business Investment Strategies offering meet the required quality and suitability for the different client’s needs, providing support for the development and operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Support clients to design, develop and maintain investment strategies across asset classes including complex derivative strategies
- Work closely with trading departments of the client to set up support processes
- Collaborate with other support functions within the business
- Develop efficient tools to automate manual processes
- Design and develop infrastructure to support strategy back testing/trading desks

Core Competencies

- Good understanding of the investment process, investment management industry, portfolio theory, and financial markets
- Good practical knowledge of derivatives
- Knowledge of analytical platforms such as Bloomberg, EIKON, Data Scope, FactSet, etc.
- Experience in Python is essential including libraries like Pandas, NumPy, SciPy etc.
- Strong experience with SQL and any database
- Proven experience in designing,



developing and production deployments of software applications
- Candidate should be able to write Efficient and scalable code to support Complex Backtest and daily Production activities
- Support data Management, Testing and all BAU activities as required throughout deliveries.
- Collaborate effectively with Stakeholders across business units, IT and Structuring to translate requirements into technical solutions

- Flexibility and ability to work in a self-directed environment as well as, collaborating with others and seeking guidance when needed.
- Excellent communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders in various geographies.

Required Qualifications

- Undergraduate degree in any of the following disciplines: Finance, Mathematics, Physics or engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in Quantitative and Technology areas of Global Markets unit, QIS desk or an Asset Management company

Preferred Qualifications

- Master’s in quantitative finance or in any other quantitative field. CFA/ CQF preferred.
