Job Title: Senior Analyst, Data Management– Quantity Surveying / Cost Management

Role Overview

We are seeking a Assistant Data Manager to support our Quantity Surveying (QS) and Cost Management team through data-driven insights, cost benchmarking, tender support and reporting activities. This role is ideal for a candidate with 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, construction cost management or related fields who is looking to develop their career within the real estate and construction industry.

The successful candidate will assist in managing cost data, preparing analytical reports, supporting bid and tender submissions and improving data quality and reporting processes across projects.

Key Responsibilities

Support the collection, validation, organization and maintenance of project and cost data.

Assist with cost benchmarking exercises using internal and external datasets.

Prepare dashboards, reports and data summaries for project teams and leadership.

Support tender and bid activities through data analysis, pricing comparisons and document preparation.

Maintain databases related to project costs, rates, procurement and market trends.

Conduct data cleansing and ensure consistency and accuracy across reporting tools.





Assist QS and Cost Management teams with budget tracking, cost reporting and trend analysis.

Help identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting automation.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather project data and reporting requirements.

Ensure data confidentiality and adherence to company data governance standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Data Analytics, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline.

2 – 3 years of experience in data analysis, quantity surveying support, cost management or construction-related analytics.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables and data analysis functions.

Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau or similar visualization tools is preferred.

Understanding of construction cost structures, procurement processes or tendering activities is advantageous.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively within project teams.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to construction, real estate or infrastructure projects.

Basic knowledge of SQL or data management tools.

Experience preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Interest in digital transformation and data-driven decision-making within construction and cost management.
