Key roles:

1. Breeding and crop improvement
2. Product evaluation & field trialing
3. Breeding support- line maintenance, BS maintenance, crop monitoring, crop agronomy
4. Data management & analysis
5. Documentation-report generation, field records, etc
6. Collaboration with other functions

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Plant Breeding, Agronomy, Genetics, or related discipline
- Prior experience of 3-5 yrs in field crops R&D; is must. Paddy is an advantage
- Proficiency in experimental designs, data collection
- Manage field trials and ensure accurate implementation of research protocols
- Effective documentation & communication skills for reporting & CFTs
- Special attention to safety, compliance, and other agricultural practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Familiarity with biotechnology-assisted breeding, molecular tools, or quality control procedures is beneficial
