Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Expert based in Kolkata. The SEO Expert will be responsible for planning and implementing SEO strategies that improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic. Day-to-day tasks include conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, optimizing on-page elements, analyzing web analytics, and managing link-building initiatives.

The role also involves collaborating with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across the website. The SEO Expert will monitor performance, prepare reports, and regularly recommend improvements aligned with business goals.

Qualifications





- Ability to perform comprehensive Keyword Research and develop targeted SEO strategies based on search intent and competition.
- Experience conducting detailed SEO Audits to identify technical, on-page, and content-related issues affecting search performance.
- Proficiency in ethical Link Building practices to strengthen domain authority and improve organic visibility.
- Strong skills in Web Analytics, including using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track and optimize performance.
- Hands-on expertise in On-Page SEO, including meta tags, headings, internal linking, image optimization, and schema markup.
- Familiarity with common SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog or similar platforms).
- Understanding of basic HTML/CSS and technical SEO concepts such as site speed, mobile optimization, and crawlability.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
