Role Description The SDE Intern role at Ston Technology is a full-time, 3-month unpaid internship based on-site in Bengaluru. Interns will collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, test, and maintain backend components of web applications that support college placement workflows. Day-to-day tasks may include writing clean and efficient code, fixing bugs, participating in code reviews, and assisting in integrating APIs and databases.

Interns will also help document features, follow best practices in software development, and work closely with mentors to learn and apply modern engineering standards.



This role is designed to provide practical experience in a collaborative environment, with exposure to real product development cycles.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles.
- Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one up-to-date programming language (such as Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Understanding of Back-End Web Development, including server-side logic, APIs, and working with databases.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to apply OOP principles in code design.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to learn quickly, follow technical guidance, and work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software development lifecycle practices is a plus.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.
