- School Support Officer

Job Title: SSO

Reporting To: Divisional Manager

Deployment: Project Office

Required Qualifications

· A Graduate/Post Graduate in Maths or Science with B.Ed. (Mandatory)

· Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in the social sector

· Good communication and facilitation skills

· Must have solid field-level experience

· Fluent in the local language; local dialect knowledge is an advantage

· Experience working with teachers will be preferred

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure effective implementation of the programme in the field.
2. Provide handholding and mentoring support to school teachers for effective programme delivery.
3. Coordinate and schedule sessions with school authorities, teachers, and headmasters.
4. Ensure smooth communication and coordination for the holistic development component of the project.
5.



Supervise and support Community Coordinators in delivering Community Connect activities.
6. Conduct training for Community Coordinators and co-facilitate teacher training programmes.
7. Support school authorities in strengthening School Management Committees (SMCs).
8. Stay updated on safety regulations, child rights, and protection policies and integrate them into programmes.
9. Facilitate, organize, and participate in events and visits as required.
10. Collect and document programme outcomes and submit quarterly narrative reports.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
