Mandatory:

- Scala – Mandatory
- Candidate must have a valid Passport
- Clear PF history is required

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of professional experience in Scala / functional programming
- Strong Unit Testing and Acceptance/BDD Testing experience
- Data Structures, Algorithms & problem-solving
- Agile development experience
- Continuous Integration (CI)
- Linux/Unix environments
- Production support rotation
- Ability to develop high-quality, maintainable code within timelines
- Strong understanding of business and technical problem domains
- Experience working with shared codebases and development teams

Preferred Skills:

- Kafka / AMQP / MQ / AMPS
- Distributed Systems




- JavaScript / AngularJS / Bootstrap
- REST API development
- DDD / CQRS / Event Sourcing
- Banking / Middle-office / Back-office domain
- Bash / Python
- Ansible / Puppet / Chef / Docker
- Scala libraries/frameworks: Scalactic, Scalatra, Akka, RxScala, TypeLevel
- Category Theory / Functional Programming concepts
